Today our spotlight is on Embryologist Derica Anderson. If you’ve read our last few blog posts, you know that our Embryologists are an integral part of the Reproductive Resource Center of Kansas City (RRC) team. Embryologists are involved in fertility treatment and reproductive research. They spend their time in the lab, collecting eggs, preparing sperm samples from partners, and injecting the eggs with sperm (insemination). Meet Derica!

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? Knowing that I am assisting couples as they achieve their dreams of becoming parents.
What is your favorite KC restaurant and what is your favorite dish(es) there? J. Gilberts/ Atlantic Salmon Buerre Blanc and Maytag Blue Cheese Chips .
Tell us about your ideal Saturday: How would you spend it? Where? I’d spend it watching Mizzou Football in Columbia at Faurot Field with my son, Cohen, and my husband Parker!
