Celeste Brabec, M.D., is the Medical Director at the Reproductive Resource Center of Greater Kansas City. Dr. Brabec completed her reproductive health and infertility specialty training at Harvard University (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA) and has helped thousands of couples build families.
Education and Training
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she received her Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Brabec went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, and completed her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard University in Boston. She was an Assistant Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology in Omaha, Nebraska (1997-1999), and in September of 1999 joined the Reproductive Resource Center of Greater Kansas City. She became Medical Director at RRC in January 2010.
Awards, Accomplishments, and Scholarly Endeavors
Dr. Brabec received recognition in Who’s Who in the 21st Century in Honor of Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Reproductive Endocrinology. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She has been voted “SuperDoc” in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by her peers on numerous occasions.
Philosophy
Dr. Brabec’s focus is the frontline, face-to-face care of couples and individuals with fertility issues. She takes great pride in keeping up with the latest national and international advances in technology, evidenced by the fact that the Reproductive Resource Center was the first in the region to offer many of the newest techniques in the industry, consistently focusing on very high pregnancy rates while at the same time low high-order multiple pregnancy rates.
Dr. Brabec is the mother of five children. Together with her caring and competent staff, she is delighted to have the opportunity to work with couples on building a family.
Certifications
Dr. Brabec is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
